"You are the average of the five people you spend the most time with" - Jim Rohn

I've always found this quote intriguing because it makes me think it's about the power of influence we have on each other. With a lifetime of gentle nudges, we are continually influencing and being influenced by those around us. And being highly relational in nature, we tend to gravitate toward and spend the most time with people who share our interests, experiences, beliefs, and desires.

Consider those in your circle of influence. Consider the impact you make and the impact others make on you. Consider the mutual influences, nudges, and impacts as we affect and are affected by those in our lives. Take a moment and think about Jim Rohn's quote with a slightly different lens. What does it mean to be the average of five and how you influence and change your five. Who are the people who lift you up and make you better. And who are the people you can left up and help make better. Be nudged. Nudge others. Be impacted. Impact others. Be influenced. Influence others. Help bring up the average of your five.

Enjoy the day!
