Now what?

Life has our attention, and life has made a demand. Step back, assess and adjust the way we do things and the way we think about things. We are aware that our world is changing, and so are we. Through these changing times, I’ve noticed something interesting. Collectively and individually, we are rethinking. We are reimagining. We are seeking creative solutions to resolve and recover from this crisis that blindsided us. Okay, Life. You have us thinking. Now what?

Now what?

Life has our attention, and life has shown us something. We are moving too fast. We need to slow down and take a breath. Our lives have become a flurry of activity, where it’s easy to lose sight of each other and ourselves. We work tirelessly to ascend to the peak of Maslow’s hierarchy triangle. Ironically, in order to move forward and upward, we need to slow down and step back. Only then can we more clearly assess and see how to adjust and ascend. Okay, Life. You have us adjusting. Now what?

Now what?

Life has our attention, and life has revealed a treasure. The treasure of life and health. We spend a lot of time chasing things we believe will bring us happiness and joy, yet we are surrounded by what we seek. Moment-by-moment opportunities to develop a life well lived. This is the treasure. Building a healthy, well-lived life. Socially, emotionally, and spiritually. That’s quite a treasure. Okay, Life. You have us noticing. Now what?

Now what?

Life has our attention, and life has a request. We need to rethink and reimagine. We need to spend some time thinking about what a well-lived life really looks like. We can see much more clearly when we take time to slow down, step back, and assess. Our world is changing, and so are we. These days will be challenging, but remember that life has a way of offering hope. People have a way of working together. We have a way of creatively solving problems. We have a way when we take a moment to listen. Okay, Life. You have us listening. Now what are we going to do?
