Today I'm taking a step back. I'm taking a look. I'm just going to be...filled, present, thankful, and grateful. I'm going to be aware and appreciative of the good in my life. I'm going to breathe in, smile, let it out, and be. Relaxed and clear minded. Here, now, being.
Three years ago, I posted my very first blog on my "new" have an optimal day website. Over those three years, the website and I have evolved. We essentially look the same, but there has certainly been some deep transformation taking place. As I glace over these past one hundred fifty-two posts, I can see the thread that weaves together my message. My message to live life better each day. To live life with purpose and direction. To move forward, make progress, and enjoy the process. To live with intention, striving for optimal days, building a compelling life. I'm three years down this path and I am still being. Being filled and present and thankful and grateful.
Today, I'm taking a look back at that very first blog post. I'm going to listen to the younger version of myself. I'm going to take my advice. I'm going to be...filled, present, thankful, and grateful. I'm going to enjoy the day. I hope you will as well. Happy Thanksgiving!
Today is a great day to step back, take a look, and just be. Be filled with the present moment. Be thankful. Be grateful. Be aware and appreciative of the good in your life. Take a deep, slow breath, smile, and let it out. And be. Then do it again. Take a deep, slow breath, smile, and let it out. And be. Take a moment to relax and clear your mind. Fill yourself up with right now. It's great to be full of right now.
Being aware of the good in your life is a satisfying, gratifying, and healthy practice. It requires a little extra focus, but we can always find someone or something to appreciate. Today, with every deep breath, slow down, smile, and be grateful. Be intentional and give it a try. Be thankful. Be grateful.
Enjoy the day!
